Bindings

I just gotta say I really like my ditch quilting foot. I sewed the binding onto the front of the quilt, pressed it out and turned it to the back of the quilt, then with a matching thread just let the little finger ride in the ditch while you sew and...

here is what the back of the binding looks like. See how nicely it caught it.  Makes the whole
binding process so quick!
And then the totally
finished table runner.

  2. That looks very nice Vicki! I have tried this method of attaching binding but wasn't very happy with the way the stitching looked on the back,,, but this foot looks like the answer for perfect stitching! I am going to the Bernina dealer to see if they have this type of foot, thanks for sharing,,, shaves hours off of the process! =)

  5. My Dad gave me his Pfaff hobby 1132 and one of the feet looks exactly like the one you are using. He lost his book and I have not taken the time, yet, to find one so was not sure what it was for. I will definitely be giving my next binding a try with your method and foot! Thank you so much for sharing and have a fantastic day!
