30's quilt done

I did get this quilt done(that I was working on in June) before we went on our mini vacation but I didn't get it's picture taken due to some very hot weather we had and I did not want to go outside to take it. So yesterday it was nice out so here it is. It took me a bit longer to do than I was anticipating, however I like the end result. I used the 30's fabrics in a little bit modern setting with the white sashings. Glide thread was used on top and a prewound in the bobbin and hobbs 80/20 batting. This is approx a crib size quilt. I love doing ruler work even tho it takes a bit longer to do :-)  Now I am off to quilt some table runners.

  1. I love how you quilted this. Your ribbon candy is really nice. I want to try that sometime.
