Piecing time!

It feels sooo good to be back piecing again! I had been quilting so much trying to get all the donation quilts done, well I have 3 left that might just be seeds for next year. Anyway I have had fun working on these 6 table runners.
Starting on the far left is one I created after getting inspired by one on Pintrest, the next one is a spin off of a quilt pattern called Fractured in the Quilting Modern book. The next 2 leaf ones are a spin off of Cherryroll vine wallhanging from Cherrywood fabrics and I thought why not make table runners. And the last 2 are my own design using the linen squares that were already cut and given to me by my friend Cynthia. She had made a quilt and these were leftovers. I used the interfacing method of applique where you sew interfacing onto the squares and then turn them right side out and I used the hand applique stitch on my Janome Horizon 7700 with smoke invisible thread and it really does look hand appliqued!  Off they go into my 'to be quilted' pile now.
