A finish, a finish finally!!

Well it's actually been done a week but just haven't taken the time to blog about it yet. I designed this table runner from something I had seen on Pintrest a while back, don't cha just love Pintrest!!  The quilting is from a new book on the market from Jodi Robinson called Modern Simplicity that has some fresh new modern quilting designs in it. Check it out!  I used Hobbs batting and Glide thread and had lots of fun quilting it up.

And just for fun-who doesn't love apple trees in bloom :-)
and lilac's...
Hope everyone has a fun and safe Memorial weekend.

Blue and purple batik and a baby panel

I just finished piecing and quilting this batik quilt for a local fabric shop. The pattern is called Pegs from Mountainpeek Creations, this is a very easy and fast pattern. I will definitely be making it again someday. I used Airtex 80/20 batting, glide thread in a bluish gray and an off white. Ruler work on the border, but everything else is freehand.

This is a panel and I added pinwheel blocks with sashings and then borders to make it into a nice size baby quilt. Airtex batting and glide thread with freehand quilting.  Just got home from delivering them to the store and she loved them and asked me to do another baby panel, so I chose a girl theme so stay tuned next week I should have it done.  Linking up to Freshly Pieced
