DRS challenge #88-The Eyes Have It

What a fun DRS challenge this week-use googlie eyes!  One could make all kinds of things using those, but I chose a witch since it is going to be Halloween before we know it. I used  circle and scallop spellbinder dies to make the witch face and hair, then sponged a little distress ink around them. Cut a triangle for hat, a straight piece for the brim added a moon behind her and a little spooky bat ribbon and some embossing folders to give the backgrounds some dimension. A fun quick card. Check out the DRS challenge.

DRS challenge-that's unexpected

What is unexpected about this card, well how often do you see a pink snowman!!  I am entering this snowman card into the DRS challenge this week. Also using this card for a donation to Operation Write Home through DRS card drive. I have been away from stamping for several months and it feels good to make use of my stamps again!  This is a DRS snowman stamp, however I changed out his hat :-)  The ribbon snowflake slide is also a DRS stamp. I love their stamps!

Not wishing for snow but...

I am working on snowmen this week, while it is in the 80's here! Seems crazy I know to make snowmen in September but the craft shows start in less than a month. The pattern for these cutie's came from Country Friends, she has some great patterns! I just tweak them a bit by adding different hats and embellishments. I need lots for my fall/winter craft shows. So far I have 24 done and currently working on 16 more, with even more in the works!

Last week I finished up these doll outfits for those popular 18" dolls. Wish I would have remembered to get pix of the dolls modeling them. There are flannel nightgowns, sun dresses with hats and capris with ruffled top. Feels good to get more added to supply box. Sometimes people ask me what I charge for them so I decided this time to include the prices on the pic.
