Triangle progress plus...

This weeks homework on the Triangle Quilt Along at Sassy Quilter's is piecing the rows. I am making smaller quilts so I have 2 different ones. The first(on the left) is using the 60 degree ruler. As I was laying this out last week I realized I needed more prints so back into the brights stash I went and pulled out more. And I added the turtle fabric in there that I was going to use only for the border, think I still have enough to do that also. I am going for an overall size of 36" as that is what Neonatal requests.
The quilt on the right has an isosceles triangle using a Quilt in a Day ruler. I have plans for a neat border on this one. Since I had to cut more prints I have way more trianlges to use up in at least 2 more quilts!!

Plus I finished quilting and binding these 3 table toppers. The patriotic ones I had pieced a few months back, the butterfly disappearing nine patch just recently.

I really like how the quilting came out on this blue one.

Linking up at Let's Bee Social, Fort Worth Fabric and Freshly Pieced , see side bar for the links to some awesome inspiration-I'm headed over there now to look around!

  1. I like both of your layouts. I went random with mine, but now I kind of wish I had done something with a little pattern to it. No going back now! :)

  3. That is a wonderful motif in the blue star. Did you free hand or mark it? Love seeing the different triangle quilts, so bright and cheery!

  4. Your quilting is always so inspiring. Congrats on finishing those table toppers. And it was so much fun to see the two different triangles side by side. I really love the second one.
