getting organized #1

A couple weeks ago I saw this Tooly pattern on craftsy and thought it was pretty cool and it kinda stuck in my mind I guess because Friday I went back and bought the pattern.  I cut it out and sewed it up on Saturday. Pretty easy and I used up some scraps!  This will be perfect to take to quilt retreat next year, but in the meantime I will still store some often used supplies in there.  I have a couple empty pockets yet to decide what I need in there!

You can find the Tooly pattern here.
And since I used scraps for it I will be linking up with Oh Scrap

The other projects I worked on last week were these 5 purses to have ready for my fall craft shows. They have a total of 11 pockets so you can get really organized! Three are on outside and 8 inside. I do have them for sale if anyone is interested-you can leave me a message or email me.

Linking up with a few more of the wonderful linky parties on my side bar. Go get inspired, each week there is something for everyone!

  6. Your tool organiser seems quite practical, even more with the pincushion in the front. And it's beautiful too! As are your bags. I particularly like the black and golden yellow bag. :-)

  7. That tooly is awesome!! I've only ventured into making things other than quilting once. . . it didn't go so well LOL I might have to try again because this looks great and I have the perfect spot for it right next to my machine - the clutter spot where all of that stuff is and I can't find anything when I need it!! LOL Your bags are beautiful!

  8. I love the sewing organizer! It looks like the perfect thing to take to my quilt group too. I just hate having my tools scattered around with everyone else's tools. Your purses are great too. They should do well at your craft show.
