Going Patriotic

This is a little quilt using the Little Twister template. She has you cutting lots of sqs. of the same color and sewing them back together so you get a stripe fabric before using the Lil Twister tool to cut them out. Well I thought why do all that piecing, so I just cut strips, sewed them together and cut. It is worked great and there are less bulky seams to deal with. I pieced it back in March and a few weeks ago I thought I better get it quilted so it can adorn my wall for the 4th of July!

Not patriotic by these beauties are blooming in our yard right now. They look so soft and silky and just a beautiful peach color that I had to share with all of you!

My wish for everyone is to have a safe and Happy 4th of July!!
