WIP Wednesday

I ran across this tutorial from a Missouri Star you tube video. So last night I made up these 2 blocks.  the pattern is called disappearing hourglass. Super easy to do. My older stash of greens are going to get used (I didn't say used up tough) in this quilt. I will use the same cream tone on tone for the background.  This might be a WIP for a while as I have lots I want to do and so I might have a few more projects in the works at the same time. The plan is for this to be a donation quilt.

On Sunday I made an announcement that I was starting my Craftsy pattern store with this cute little table topper.

And here is a sneak peek at the next pattern I will be working on!

  2. I love the look of the disappearing hourglass block but have heard it can be a little fussy. How are you liking it?

  5. Oh, I look forward to where you'll go with the disappearing hour glass quilt. A friend from guild just made one. Her layout is fresh and modern: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-05w-y4qZgwA/VifBXmZ1KYI/AAAAAAAABzQ/5mQ263Mah5k/s1600/IMG_7052.jpg
