2nd RSC16 done and Christmas

Here is my second RSC 16 quilt all finished. It's a Moda Bake Shop pattern called Tropical Punch. Each month I pieced the block with the color Angela at So Scrappy picked for our Monthly RSC16 color.  In the end I decided not to put the sashing and corner stone in.

Freehand feather design quilted on my Nolting Funquilter. Yeah I have completed both of my RSC16 projects.

My nutcrackers that I have collected over the years.

Our artificial pre-lit cashmere pine Christmas tree. I love the easy of the prelit trees and no needle droppings, LOL   No that is not another tree outside, it's the reflection in the window! Most of the ornaments are snowman or snowflake oriented.  The stockings I made several years ago and are paper pieced.  I am in need of a new tree skirt, now don't cha think a quilter should have a quilted one!!  I was an embroiderer before and that is the start of snowmen all around and then I gave up embroidery to quilt.
Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you that keep reading my blog and leaving me some quilty love. You are all appreciated beyond words, you give me inspiration-more than you know. You keep me going and wanting to show you more of what I make.

  3. That's such a pretty quilt, Vicki! Rainbow quilts are just so happy! I love your quilting on it - you are so good at that! Pretty tree, too! I need to make a new tree skirt, too. Mine was made by my mom back when we were first married and it is just so old and worn out! I've seen so many neat ones online that I would love to make. Maybe for next Christmas!
