It's So Very Easy

I ran across this video from  Sew Very Easy last month, and I had one of those days where I had nothing planned so I jumped right in and made this little quilt.  It's 36x45.

Such a simple block, but when put together, it makes a fun pattern.  She also shows in the video many different settings you can do. My 5" squares were all from scraps that I am trying to clean up from the 80's-90's mauve/blue coloration.

Did you notice I said I made it last month, and here it is all quilted already!!  Aren't you proud of me! I usually do a lot of piecing and then a lot of quilting so this is a rare thing for me to have an all finished project so quickly!  The freehand allover quilting consists of a feather swirl and sometimes a hook feather thrown in.

  2. That is cute! Good for you, getting it done so fast, too. That's an interesting block, and I can see where you could have lots of different designs, depending on how you turned it.
