To Do Tuesday #6

Another week has rolled around so let's see what everyone has accomplished this past week.  You can check everyone's progress at Roseanne's To Do Tuesday linky party.

My goal for this week was to hopefully sew blocks for five leaf table runners. Whoo hoo I met my goal.
It was a really windy day for the photo so I had to hold them down with this little rock😏.  Enough blocks for five table runners with four colors of leaves for each one makes for 20 blocks for the week.  Not bad considering I had lots of other fun things to go do this past week.

I know it is not fall leaf season, but working ahead on fall and winter things for my craft shows is always a good thing.

This coming week is another busy one for me so I will keep the goal simple this week also.

1. Put the blocks together and get started on the pieced borders.

Linking with To-Do Tuesday.

  1. Love these leaf blocks. Are they paper pieced?

  2. Sunshine and fall-colored leaves - I'll take it. While I love the beauty of the snow, I'm ready for sunny days (and bare feet). I anticipate you'll meet that goal easily.

  4. Hi Vicki! I'm trying to get back into the groove of reading and writing blogs again! I had subscribed to so many I was getting overwhelmed with e-mail and had to cut back quite a bit and only kept those I was most interested in. Yours is one! I love your leafs, lady!

  5. I love seeing that sunshine and the rock is just right! It always makes sense to me to be a little ahead and after the last 2 years, I am feeling in control of my schedule!

  6. Hi Vicki! Oooh, these leaf blocks definitely say Fall. Someone else was saying it was way too windy to take photos. These will be together as runners in no time. I'm wondering if you're adding sashing . . . I guess I will see soon enough. Thank you for linking up this week. Good luck with another productive week. ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. Those are such great leaves, Vicki! I was wondering if they're paper-pieced, too. Hope you're finding lots of fun things to do in the sun! :)

  8. I love the subtle shades of your leaves, especially the purple one! Very smart to be looking ahead to fall for your shop. But then again, I always knew you were a smart cookie :)

  10. Lovely, and they certainly shout autumn, although personally I am so looking forward to spring. I wouldn’t have thought of including purple but it works great.

  12. See, you are ahead of the game with great fall blocks. When those are finished, they will sell out quickly, I'm sure.
