AccuQuilt and Quarantine Quilting

During this stressful time in the world with COVID-19 quilters can still stay inspired while most of us have to shelter in place the best we can.  AccuQuilt wants you to know they are there to help us out.

Quilters are resourceful and as we care for one another and our families during these challenging times, the AccuQuilt team wants to help you be inspired, get involved and stay connected. They are building a community of quilters and sewists and we're all invited! They have tons of resources whether you're looking for free patterns to work on or want to help sew masks for healthcare workers. Click here to read all about their #QuarantineQuilting efforts

And did you see that AccuQuilt now offers dies that speed up the process of making fabric masks!!  In several different sizes too.  Here is one of them.

  1. Wow, that's really cool! Do you have the sense that they already had that die, or did they develop it recently to make masks? Are you going to make some? We have no place to donate them here in the Bahamas, but I made a few for our own use. Yesterday in the tiny grocery store, the clerk asked us to wear masks, so I was really glad to have something.

  3. I don't have the Accucut machine. Otherwise, yes, the die would be nice. I haven't made that shape face mask yet.
