Summer and Fall

Hello Summer is a cross stitch from Primrose Cottage, love their designs. Diann and I had been talking of what to stitch next, she mentioned she was going to do this one and I thought it is the perfect timing. So I jumped in fingers first:)  A week ago I picked out the thread and then Monday started stitching and every night since except for last night. I only stitch in the evenings while watching TV.

During the day time I sew.  I figure it is time to work up a few fall panels for the shop.

And the current one I am working on.  I'll go into more detail about each when I get them quilted.

  2. Ooh, yours is looking good! I hope to make more progress on mine tonight. That's when I do my hand stitching, too. Pretty panels - love the Autumn Greetings one especially!

  4. Your panels look great, Vicki. I also subscribe to the Primrose newsletter and have "collected" all of the freebie patterns. I didn't know you guys were stitching the latest. Hmmmm...dang! Another distraction!

  5. Nice counted cross stitch. I used to enjoy x stitching but my eyes aren't as reliable as they used to be. Or maybe I can't count worth a xxxx. Of course I did buy a new cross stitch project to do on a plastic bag. Your panels are coming along beautifully.

  6. Love those pumpkin panels. I got that summer cross stitch and downloaded it this morning. I liked the look of Diann's, and yours looks great too!

  7. Lovely starts to the fall sewing! I have a couple of partially finished cross stitch projects in a drawer. I used to do a lot of it, but find my attention span is short with cross stitch these days. I get them out and work on them for a day or 2, and then - back in the drawer. LOL
