Last fall I had a customer buy two project bags I made using vinyl for the front. She wanted two more and wasn't in a big hurry. I asked if January would be okay, she was very patient while I got the new studio set up. I made five bags, two that she had picked fabrics for and three to put in the shop eventually. These were the two she wanted.
And the extras.
And she ended up buying these three...
These bags at 12" x 12" are nice size for storing knitting needles, crochet hooks, small projects, cross stitch, sewing supplies or whatever you can think of. And with the vinyl window you can see what easily what is in there. The pattern is a freebie from Center Street Quilts.
Okay on to the next project! Which I think will be scrappy.

Your project bags are wonderful, Vicki. Such pretty fabrics in each and everyone.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! When I make one I add a handle and hang on a hook or clothes hanger.
ReplyDeleteThose bags are so cute! You did a neat job with the vinyl. Those fabrics are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI've made a couple very similar using the the Moda Bakeshop pattern, but I'll have to check out the Center Street one.
I love project bags and yours are so fun with the fabrics you used. I didn't know about the pattern at Center Street Quilts. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThose are some lovely project bags, Vicki. The size is just right for most cross stitch hoops and Q-snaps. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove those! Very versatile and gorgeous fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThese turned out great. I’ve made quite a few of these. Sold a few and gifted a few.
ReplyDeleteI have a few of those but I never think to use them! One does have a project in it, but maybe I need to move them out into the light. LOL Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThey look great! I'm sure they will be used frequently!
