Twin Starstruck runners and new pineapple

I rarely work with blue unless it is patriotic, however I pieced two blue Starstruck runners recently. These are from my tutorial.

And then in a desperate attempt at using more scraps I started another scrappy pineapple quilt. Another 3 or perhaps 6 blocks will be made and then I will sash the blocks and add borders.

  1. Gorgeous runners! I have that tutorial saved and will add this page to it, because I love the light print in the stars on the right runner. You always put such pretty fabrics together. Gosh those pineapples are pretty.
Do you have plans for Easter? Our daughter and SIL are coming - they have a weekend without the little grands, so we will actually get to visit with them - lol!

  2. Wow - actually a double WOW! Those blue stars are fabulous. I love the shape. And the pineapple blocks are even prettier in scrappy colors than all orange. And the orange ones were very pretty.

  4. I think those will be very popular table runners. They can work for patriotic in a pinch but are also great for winter.

  6. I made your Starstruck in Christmas colors a while back. I should revisit it -- especially since you've shown the blue version.

  9. It’s funny because when I looked at the zoomed out pictures of your two table runners, I liked the one on the left but looking at the close up pictures, I like the one on the right better 😂😂 Your pineapple blocks look so bright and cheerful but you know scraps grow faster than they are used, right?

  14. Talk about a belated comment! Suddenly Feedly, where I get new blog posts, is showing me posts that are days and days old! 🙄 Anyway, your blue runners with the snowflakes are really pretty. I especially like the snowflake prints in that first one you show. Have you driven through Snowflake, Arizona? I don't know how it got its name, but it always made us laugh when we went through!
