As promised here are my fabric acquisitions from Shipshewana and Ligonier.
These were purchased at Zincks in Ligonier, IN. and I know exactly what I am doing with each one of them, LOL. On the left is star print for patriotic backgrounds. The next four are for cupcake table runners. The green plaid for St. Patty's table round wedge toppers, and the leaves are for fall round wedge toppers.
Two panels are from Yoders in Shipshewana, IN. 🠝
Pumpkin placemat panels 🠝except I will be using them in small wall quilts. I picked up a coordinating blue. Guess what...I already started on one! This panel and the one below 🠟I got from Lollies in Shipshewana. Aren't they just adorable, I fell in love on the spot! More wall hangings will be made. It's my birthday week so I didn't feel to guilty buying more fabric!
Our Japanese iris are in full bloom.

You acquired some lovely fabric on your trip, Vicki. I especially like the pumpkin placemats. Happy Birthday!!
ReplyDeleteYou brought home lots of fun fabric! I especially love the green and orange leaf print and the fall panel. Happy Birthday, too! Hope you have some fun plans for the day.
ReplyDeleteOh what a great addition to your stash. I like that you know exactly what you will be doing with each one. I don't use a lot of panels but sometimes I am given one or two and then I'll make them into quilts. Now if I could just find the floral blocks that were attached to a bigger panel. I wonder where I put it?
ReplyDeleteLove your new fabrics! How neat you already had plans for them. The panels are just beautiful! I love sewing with panels. And yes, anything goes in birthday week. :D
ReplyDeleteBuying fabric with a plan? You seem confused! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOooh yummy acquisitions. I am quite smitten with the green plaid. Happy June and Happy Birthday, Vicki. Have an awesome week! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Vickie! Fun fabrics to start your new trip around the sun :-) The Iris are beautiful! I enjoy Dutch Iris blooming in April in time for my birthday each year. These flowers come just for us :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Vicki! Ooooh, I love all the pretties. I am especially over the moon about the blue pumpkins! I have some of that fabric and plans to make some projects. Now, I just need to find the time to get them going. Good job! I'm surprised that's all you found - or that you had restraint to only pick up these. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteI just saw your comment on Alycia's blog that your BD is Wednesday. Early happy birthday! You share a BD with my Daddy. His was the 3rd and mine is the 11th, so we celebrated starting on his BD all the way through mine, and now I carry on the tradition - lol!
ReplyDeleteYou are so efficient!!!! Go, Vicki!!! Our irises are blooming now, too. Love them!\
ReplyDeleteThat is shopping with purpose. Beautiful choices!
ReplyDeleteOoh, fun goodies! And the irises are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove that fabric!!! I can imagine all of them in your products. And those panels are adorable. Great finds.
ReplyDeleteLots of good fabric in your new stash! Will be fun to see all the pretty quilts you make with it!
ReplyDeleteGreat fabrics! Funny, the one name rang a bell, and yes, Zinck's is in Lancaster PA as well - Amish section. Yoder is a an Amish name, too, but they don't have a PA branch.
ReplyDeleteYou had a fantastic haul, Vicki!! Can't wait to see what you make with all this lusciousness. I really love the fall panels. Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.
