I have been enjoying my new space, however I was only in it long enough to get the backing prepared so I could get this one quilted. And then long enough to bind it.
The piecing of this one and it's twin (which I hope I need to quilt at a later date) was pieced last winter.
This is a pattern from Jedi Craft Girl. I had been saving that backing fabric for a while. It has metallic gray dots and I thought it looked kinda fancy so I was waiting for something special to make. But the special never showed itself so recently I said I am just gonna use it for the back. It goes perfectly as the background of the front is gray and white.
Next up was another black cat Halloween runner, yes the first one sold. And tonight this second one sold too! You guessed it there is another one in my future;) I have more of the cut off parts for the star points left and sewn so the rest of the runner won't take long to piece.
This one uses white with orange dots for the background fabrics. The star points are different fabrics from the first black cat runner. The pumpkin fabrics are also different.

You are making me want to decorate for fall , Vicki. Your Maple Leaf quilt is just gorgeous . I can see why your Halloween table runners are selling in a blink of an eye. This one is as cute as a button! You are on fire!
ReplyDeleteI love that pretty pumpkin wall hanging! Is that a dark gray on the stars? It looks amazing. Congratulations on your black cat runners - they are so cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'll bet these sell quickly and you'll have to get that other one quilted right away.
ReplyDeleteThose are great fall finishes! While I'm not ready for summer to be over, I bet those will fly out of your shop in no time!
ReplyDeleteThose are just darling, Vicki. I especially like the runner with the pumpkins and cats...oh, and the striped binding.
ReplyDeleteStill as cute as ever, and I love the Fall panel quilt, stunning.
ReplyDeleteCutest quilting!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Vicki! I love your patchwork pumpkins, and the cats, too. Where are you finding your fun Halloween fabric these days?
ReplyDeleteIt's too soon for Halloween for me, but man, are these adorable! I can see why they are selling so well!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I'm not in a hurry to give up on summer, but I do love fall, especially fall colors. Your quilts are always so carefully and thoughtfully made.
ReplyDeleteIt’s great hearing that your cat Halloween runners sold! They are so fun!
ReplyDeleteThese are great. That is a perfect backing too !
ReplyDeleteThere's fall in the air in your quilt room! Cute quilts!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had just the right amount of time to get these done and well done! Inspiring to see these right now as I was planning to start some Halloween project work this month. The pumpkin appliques on that last runner look like they are from the Accuquilt die, is the cat from the one they have of that die too?
