I have the plastic edging coming off one of my bookcases, in front of my ironing board. I finally just broke that part off. We used some that have a leaf pattern on it. It raises up to the perfect height for me when cutting fabric. I did something similar for my ironing ...Very nice! I did something similar for my ironing station using cabinets from Target. I mounted then on another piece of plywood so I could put casters on it and be able to roll it around. It's too tall for cutting but when you need a new ironing station it's the best!
