I have never participated in the Blogger's Quilt Festival before, it will be fun to be part of all the gorgeous quilts!! So hop on over to see them at Amy's Creative Side, thanks Amy for putting this on.
This wall hanging is one of my own designs that I would like to enter into the Wall Hanging category. The inspiration for it came from a rug in my foyer! After redoing the foyer and the living room in a more modern style I decided to continue into the rest of the house, I needed a wall hanging too!
The black background is all one piece and then I appliqued on the solid colored squares, square rings and the rectangle using the blanket stitch on my Janome Horizon 7700. I then quilted fun designs on it using my Nolting FunQuilter. I used Hobbs 80/20 batting and glide thread throughout. It is 18 x 46.
Be sure to visit all the wonderful quilts at Amy's Creative Side and good luck to all participants!
