Quilts, Quilts, Quilts!

I seem to be finding it harder and harder to take time to post these days. I am getting ready for a spring craft show, I don't do the spring ones every year as things don't sell as well as fall. But I was in the mood for springy things and the modern quilts seem to fall in that category a bit. So first up is this little yellow quilt I made using a charm pack. I browse Pintrest quite a bit for ideas and that is where this one came from. Lots of fun quilting it too!  Last week when I took these pic's outdoors our deck was clear of snow, not so this weekend, but we only got a couple inches unlike up north where they had a foot + and our son couldn't make it down this weekend :-(
This is also made using a charm pack, these solids are from Connecting Threads. The pattern for this quilt is Charmed Squares
30 's prints gone Modern is what I am calling this strippy Kaleidoscope quilt. I had tons of fun quilting this one, lots of work but so fun!
And a close up

  6. I am in love with the colours! And your quilting! I am making a quilt top right now that has the strips around the edge (piano keys?) and was wondering how to best quilt that part. Never would have thought of the diagonal. Looks great. Thanks for sharing!
