Customer Christmas quilt

This week I have been quilting this cute Christmas quilt that Randa made. The blocks were paper pieced. Randa said she prefered straight line quilting, so keeping that in mind I tried to come up with different designs that would coordinate with each block.  The internet and books are great inspiration! First I stitched in the ditch the green around the block, and the block itself and stitched egg and dart design in the sashings. Then I came back and did each block design and matched thread color to the fabric. Randa I hope you like it, I think it came out really nice!  Thanks for letting me quilt it for you!

The quilt is 60x60, Glide thread on top, Sew Fine in bobbin, Hobbs 80/20 batting.

These Santa's have a brick design in the background.

 I love these star blocks!
The tree blocks were really fun to stitch!

  2. Wow! You did amazing with the straight quilting. It really enhanced all her blocks. She will love it. Lots of straight lines with enough curves to soften it.
