get back to work it seems. I got a call from one of the craft shows on Sunday morning and she says if you have 'anything' at home finished please bring it!!! The show had only been open 3 days out of 12!! OK so she is not out of my stuff but did sell lots and you know the better your supply the better your chances are of selling more, and of course I want to do that, LOL Well luckily I still had 6 table runners pieced that just needed quilting and binding. Four of them got quilted yesterday and put #5 on the frame for today along with getting these bound today. And will deliver them on thursday to start the second weekend of 3 for this show.
I took a few days last week to start working on more 18" doll clothes, this was one of 7 outfits I did.
Our guild had Ami Simms for our speaker last night, what a hoot! She showed and told us so many funny things we laughed most of the hour-if you ever get the chance to listen to her do it! I have had her twisted sister template for years and love using it. I think it was one of the first ever templates I bought a long time ago.
Linking to a few of parties on my side bar -off to check out some eye candy to go with my coffee this morning! Hope everyone has a good week and makes an easy transition into the new fall time :-)
I love your table runners! The quilting is gorgeous. And the doll dress brings back a lot of lovely memories. I made many matching outfits for my two daughters and their American Girl Dolls when they were younger. Glad your show is going so well!
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous projects. I can see why they are going fast.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilting on the runners you show. How do you do ribbon candy? I just can't do that to save my life
ReplyDeleteYour runners are gorgeous! I agree with Jasmine, there is a very good reason they are flying out the door! Beautifully done :)
ReplyDeleteYour work is always so beautiful Vicki.....it is no surprise that your things are selling so well, congrats!!!
