I used Hobbs wool over Hobbs 80/20 to get more definition-I love how it came out-just the way I imagined. The 2 layers of batting helps keep it nice and flat for hanging.
And the back...
My walls really are a mint green but the lighting just wouldn't pick up that color. It really does go nicely in there!

ReplyDeleteLove the definition on this one...great design.
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous. LOVE the texture, and that is what just leapt out at me when I saw the thumbnail. I want to lick it. lol, I won't, I just might pet it ... a LOT!
ReplyDeleteI just love how the double bat makes this quilt just pop! Another beautifully done quilt! And I just have to say - your stippling is absolutely perfect! I can't do it. I've tried so many different things and I just can't get it to look right - you have it mastered!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I look at this I think that I need to get to my sister's quilt, but things keep coming up. (Like a challenge quilt for my LQS). Your quilt is so beautiful. I'm glad you are enjoying it in your room.
