Plans and goals for 2017

In the past I have not really set a lot of goals or plans for the coming year. I just know, in my head,  I need/want to quilt a lot!  However this year I will write it down and see how it goes. Yvonne over at QuiltingJetGirl is having a planning 2017 linky party that I will join.

2017 Planning Party

So for 2017 I want to make at least 10 wheel chair quilts, 10 neonatal quilts, and 10 small lap quilts-all for donations. Then there are the valances I want/need to make for our master bedroom. There are still several flimsies in the closet that need quilting-2 of which are older, some are newer.  I want to try to use more from my stash than buying, buying, buying, this is the hardest one for me!!!  Those are all personal goals.

For the business/craft sale side, I need to start earlier to make items, I picked up another craft sale for fall 2017, plus I am thinking of having one in our garage again. So I need to be on top of things sooner!!  Plus I want to write a couple more patterns to sell.  I would love to learn more about EQ7 also, which means I need more time to do that.  But with all that said I still am planning on doing lots of fun things with the hubster, our kids and the grandsons...hmmm do I really need to sleep???   Well we'll just have to see how it all goes won't we.

  7. I like to think I plan and have goals! I work best by mostly doing what I want when the mood hits me! I try to be organized, I try to have goals...in the end they usually get abandoned! You have a good long list of goals and I am sure you will accomplish a good many of them if not all or more!

  15. Great goals for 2017 Vicki! I am interested in making some wheelchair quilts to donate also, what a great idea! Continue learning EQ, even after years of using it....I continue to learn how to do new things with it.
