Where do I begin

I don't even know where to start, taking one week off of blogging led to two and then three and before I know it two plus months have went by.  Thank you to those of you that asked if I was okay, the answer was yes I am fine just in need of a break! Plus I didn't really have anything knew to show you. I took three weeks off from sewing during that time, pretty much unheard of for me!

Since getting back home I have fired up the longarm and she purred like a kitten so I have a couple of finishes.  This is made with the Accuquilt BOB die called Morning Star.

And since it's getting close to summer I have been thinking of strawberries.

We definitely had some yummy strawberries while in Arizona.

A couple of sites we discovered while ATVing in AZ.

An old mine🠟

The remains of a long ago house. Can you imagine living in a small one room house! 🠟

And of course gotta love some  prickly pear cactus blooms.

Our wild plum trees are in full blossom and oh they are so fragrant!!

  1. Both of your runners are gorgeous, Vicki. The colors are rich and I love the scrappiness of the squares. Can't pick a favorite in this batch, but I have had the morning star die on my mental list for quite some time. I still hesitate because....would I take time to use it??

  6. I'm with the other commenters - sometimes blogging just doesn't fit in with what else is going on in life! Good to see a post from you, and those pretty tablerunners, too. You find the best backing fabrics! Great sights on your ATV trips, too - I love the desert landscape.

  15. Sometimes we all take a break...and sometimes it is for no real reason. April was my break and it feels good to be back. Love your sunny runner and strawberries. Fun to see some of the Arizona sites!

  16. Oh, wow, those Sun Flowers are fabulous. I have the same kaleidoscope die but never considered laying out the block so it looks like a sun!! Very cool, I must try this. Strawberries make a really sweet table runner too! Looks like you are having wonderful adventures, and that's what life is really all about. Thanks for sharing your finishes at TGIFF!
