Another cornerstone runner made it's way to the finish line.
I have been using a lot of fall colored strips from this little bin. Soon I will have to cut a few more to get lots of different prints.
My hubby made me some square clappers, they work great to use on these square centers for these runners.
Another pieced backing to make this long enough for this runner.
I love your fall fabrics! Those square clappers are really keen. I'll have to show those to my husband and see what he can come up with. :)
ReplyDeleteRich fall colors are just perfect for these runners. Your husband did a really good job making those clappers.
ReplyDeleteYour clappers are good size! Do they really help make things flatter? I've never tried them. You are motoring through your scraps and making some beautiful runners.
ReplyDeleteLovely runner. I had my husband make me a big clapper also. I use it a lot and yes, Ramona, 👆🏼, it does help flatten the block. This is a great fall table runner. You've been doing a great job of getting runners, wall hangings and other smaller fall pieces done. I get a lot of ideas from your blog. (On the other hand, I have so many quilts started, I try to not start many new projects these days.)
ReplyDeleteLove those cozy fall colors in your runner! That looks like a great way to use scrappy strips. The clappers look handy, too. Do they eliminate some pressing?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall runner, Vicki. I find clappers are a big help is making units and blocks flatter. The square ones must be awesome.
ReplyDeletethose colors are good fall colors
ReplyDeleteFall colors and a runner design that can last through the whole season. It's such a pretty one!
ReplyDeleteWell isn't your hubby a sweetie for making you the clappers. You will put them to good use. Darling table runner, Vicki. I was just studying this block today. It may be in my future. LOL. Happy Wednesday .Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to use such gorgeous fall colors and produce a great tablerunner!
ReplyDeletePretty, rich fall colors, Vicki. I love your clappers. Hubby did a good job. Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.
ReplyDeleteLovely colors and it does lie so flat thanks to the clapper! I’ve not used one, but may have to. Quilters say “Yes” to the clapper.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall colors. Kudos to your DH. He is a keeper :-) One time I was using a heavy recipe book for the same purpose and Paul got excited that I was about to make him some comfort food :-D
