All about the leaves

The last three days have been all about maple leaves. Lots of die cutting happened. I have no idea exactly how many maple leaf runners I will get from all the cutting I did. But this is the result...

The leftovers from this year are in these zip loc bags. There will be lots of maple leaf runners made over the winter.

And one maple leaf table runner made on Wednesday.

Today's plans are to go to a fabric estate sale out of town so no sewing will be happening.

  4. Such a pretty maple leaf runner, Vicki. You have some nice fabrics prepped for future ones. A fabric sale sounds exciting. The estate part is sad. I hope you show what you find.

  10. I miss the colorful fall leaves of yesteryear. Global warming has dramatically dulled the colors in the Massachusetts coastal town where I live. Your palette of autumnal colors brings back that palette. Love the first table runner. The quilting within the leaves is such a surprising and delightful idea.

  16. Lovely runner and your way ahead for next year on leaves! So, did you get anything at the fabric estate sale? I try not to succumb to things like that but ... sometimes I do. Last time the fabric had been donated to a guild I belong to...25 yards later... I will admit I've actually used some of the smaller pieces so that's positive. And you saw the panel I bought that doesn't speak to me at all.
