A bit of slow stitching

A little bit of Tree Farm got stitched this week.

Finished knitting the second pair of slippers, they just need to be stitched up. These are childs size, perhaps a 8-10 yr. They do stretch so that makes it great to fit several different sizes.

The third pair begun with two shades of green. I tried a dark green and the lighter one together. They got ripped out as it just was to much contrast.

I'll be Slow Stitching on both projects a bit this evening. It's just to nice out to be inside stitching today. Plus we invited friends over this afternoon. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post on setting up my new little quilt studio.

  1. Looking forward to seeing your new quilt studio! Those slippers always look like such a nice project. Love those fun trees you're stitching, too. So glad you're enjoying the nice weather!

  3. Such pretty yarn colors! I haven't done any knitting in decades, so I'm sure I've totally forgotten how. And I was never any good at it. I did quite a lot of crocheting off and on, but haven't done any for 5-6 years now. One granddaughter and daughter learned together how to crochet and I keep seeing pretty yarn and feeling tempted to pick it up again.

  6. Once I finish a shawl I'm knitting, I'll make some slippers. My cold feet will certainly appreciate them! Thanks for the link to the pattern.
