Cupcakes

I'm staying busy, which is a good thing:)  This past week I made some time to remake my cupcake table runner.

Lots of cutting, sewing and appliqueing. But I love the end result.

Cute backing fabric in the right colors to make this runner more festive.

While making this I got the bright idea that I needed to make this in patriotic colors, you know for the 250th celebration! So a couple days later this was finished.

While I was in the patriotic bin again I figured I should get another of these done. This time instead of a white background I used more of a beige one.

Thanks to all who stop by to check out what I have been up to!  Now shall we go check out some more inspiration that has linked up at these blogs...

  2. The cupcake runners are adorable. And I really like the flag one in beige; makes it more prim.

  3. Wow Vicki, those are darling! I love all 3, and if I was forced to choose I'd pick the middle one - very unique - and I predict it will be the first one that flies out of your Etsy shop.
If I had seen that first one when I was catering (2008-2013), I would have snatched it up so I could put my cupcakes on a cake plate and photograph them. Where in the world did you get flowers to match it?

  7. Your runners always turn out so pretty! It's no wonder that they are popular in the shop. I love the cupcake ones - especially the first one. The checkerboard border is adorable, and what a great backing, too. Have they sold already?! 😊

  9. You are one busy bee, Vicki. All three of the quilt runners are adorable, but the patriotic cupcakes are too stinkin' cute! Beautiful job.

  17. Love all of them!!! And for some reason I love the Patriotic cupcakes more than the other. But that's likely because I love the RWB combos!! LOL
