DRS challenge #150

DRS challenge this week is 'I pine for you'. We are to use anything with pine in it. I chose to use a stamp from DRS and heat embossed it with silver. And since I just got a new pack of teal card stock I just had to use it and have a different color for some Christmas cards.  Gray is a favorite of mine recently too, so I started with a gray card and layered it with aqua, holly leaves embossed teal, another aqua layer before the final embossed white layer. Add in some silver ribbon and I have a rich looking Christmas card.

Star Spangled Christmas card

A Christmas card with stars for the DRS challenge this week. We could either make a red, white, and blue card or use stars.  In black Memento I stamped a DRS star and then used a jel sparkly gold pen to outline parts of it. In the center I used a glittery star brad and around the edge of the circle I used a gold foil ink pen. The circle is popped up on lime
green cardstock stamped with a star, added to a black for a little accent. All this attached to a white card.

DRS challenge #96

I made this Christmas card to enter into the DRS Rip Torn challenge this week. Starting with a white cardstock for the card and adding an olive green layer stamped with DRS Lines O' Plenty background stamp. Next comes the torn white paper stamped with their background dots stamp topped with a glitzy gold ribbon. And of course one more DRS stamp-the poinsettia colored with copic and bic markers with gold stickles in the center and I have one more Christmas card made!

Spooky, Scary

I will enter this 'All Things Scary' card I made into the DRS So Spooky It's Scary challenge for this week. I started with white cardstock, adding a layer of black and then orange which I used a background candycorn stamp for. For embellishments I cut a moon from a die, black spider web from a punch, 2 ghosts from Stampin Up owl punch, stamped a witch hat then cut it out. I added some green ribbon for more color, but the most fun one is the little spider hanging from the web-I used a glitter brad and drew in his legs.

DRS challenge-that's unexpected

What is unexpected about this card, well how often do you see a pink snowman!!  I am entering this snowman card into the DRS challenge this week. Also using this card for a donation to Operation Write Home through DRS card drive. I have been away from stamping for several months and it feels good to make use of my stamps again!  This is a DRS snowman stamp, however I changed out his hat :-)  The ribbon snowflake slide is also a DRS stamp. I love their stamps!
