Caution-curves ahead

It's Curvalicious month at Island Batik for us ambassadors.  So I have been working on my curves-well not 'mine' but my project!!  While I don't do a lot with curve sewing, I have done some and enjoyed it. So heck yes I am up for the challenge:)

I chose to use a blenders bundle from a new line they released at Spring Market called Olivera which you should be able to find in quilt shops this fall.  There are so many different curve rulers and patterns out there.  At first I thought I would use my Quick Curve ruler and then I found this pattern called Lemon Slices at Annie's on sale for only $1 and it looked fun and different.  I love the curved ends!

A little close up so you can see the wonderful fall colors in these blenders.  Superior Threads Fantistico  #5061, which is variegated greens, was my thread of choice for quilting.  Aurifil was used in the piecing.

From another angle.

Next month we are challenged to make a baby quilt-fun!!!  And I started it yesterday:)

It's always fun to see how someone else interprets the challenge.  You can find out by checking out their blogs.
