My Nolting FunQuilter helped me do all the quilting. The batting is a layer of Hobbs 80/20 with a layer of their 4 oz poly batting on top of that. Why did I do 2 layers of batting you may ask. Do you see the definition of the quilting-that is what happens when you do the 2 layers of batting, I love that for this quilt. I personally would not do this for a bed quilt or snuggly quilt as it does give it body(stiffer) which does not give a snuggle feel, but for a quilt that will hang-oooh lala!! Glide thread in Prickly Pear was used throughout the top, with an unknown for the bobbin. Which brings me to the back of the quilt-wow do I love it as much as the front-oh yes!
It goes perfectly with our bedroom walls, which are a pretty mint green although you can't tell it by the picture. I just couldn't get it to show up naturally.
Thank you all for stopping in and taking a peek, and if you leave a comment I do respond to each and everyone that is not a no reply blogger. If you don't hear from me check to see as I would love to respond to your comments as they are very much appreciated
