DRS challenge #48 Autumn Greetings
For my Autumn card for the DRS challenge this week I used the DRS wheat stamp on off white paper. I then cut the wheat design apart into 3 rectangles and backed with black paper and added 3 square black brads. A black card base with craft colored paper stamped with the DRS Lines O Plenty and brown papers added along with a ribbon to complete this autumn card.

Blogger's Quilt Festival-2012
I have never participated in the Blogger's Quilt Festival before, it will be fun to be part of all the gorgeous quilts!! So hop on over to see them at Amy's Creative Side, thanks Amy for putting this on.
This wall hanging is one of my own designs that I would like to enter into the Wall Hanging category. The inspiration for it came from a rug in my foyer! After redoing the foyer and the living room in a more modern style I decided to continue into the rest of the house, I needed a wall hanging too!
The black background is all one piece and then I appliqued on the solid colored squares, square rings and the rectangle using the blanket stitch on my Janome Horizon 7700. I then quilted fun designs on it using my Nolting FunQuilter. I used Hobbs 80/20 batting and glide thread throughout. It is 18 x 46.
Be sure to visit all the wonderful quilts at Amy's Creative Side and good luck to all participants!

DRS Designs challenge #47-Cats
Here is my card for the DRS #47 challenge-Cats. What a fun card to make, a while back I saw somewhere on the net how to make these pumpkins with 3 ovals, love how that worked out. I used a die to cut the ovals, sponged the edge with brown, cut a stem and used another die for the leaves. The cat is a stamp and then cut out and poppped up. The fence is all strips of paper and rounded the ends. The background is a favorite of mine from DRS Designs called Lines O' plenty. And to finish off the card I used 3 different sizes of metal stick on's. Now I am off to bind the 4 table runners I quilted this morning. I have my quilts and crafts in a craft show that started last Thursday and they sold tons of my stuff and I have to replenish!!!

What I've been up to
Two weeks ago I was notified that a big craft show I had been signed up for was canceled for this year. I was so disappointed, but my dear sweet hubbs said 'so why not have your own again' so that is what we did!! I had it these past 3 days in our garage and it turned out so wonderful!!! It was just what I needed, many friends and neighbors came, along with lots of strangers, it was all the comments and compliments that were so awesome, yes the sales were great too of course!!! If you were one of those that came to the sale-Thank you! I just wanted to share some pictures of it all set up, please forgive the quality of the pic's, the lighting wasn't great for picture taking even though it was well lit or perhaps it was the picture taker at fault(me). And yes everything you see was all made by me.
