The second one I worked on today was another Wiggle quilt. I only got the strips sewed and started cutting when it was time to go home. Since strip sets are not all that exciting I will show you that another day too.
And this one I started a few months back when we had blue as our RSC16 color of the month. I made 2 blocks and didn't continue. So now that the end of the year is coming I need to get my rear in gear!!
I have 2 more blue blocks cut and ready to sew. Then I will do 10 green and put into a quilt about lap size. This a tutorial from Missouri Star called Disappearing churn dash pinwheel. Easy and fun to make. I love so many of their tutorials and hope to do more soon.

Oh Scrap
Both projects shown look like they will make BEAUTIFUL quilts!!
ReplyDeleteYour disappearing churn dash pinwheels are a really neat block! I love the happy pink and yellow blocks, too. It sounds like fun to get together and sew with your friends. My quilt group gets together once a month, but we usually just share things we've worked on at home. I'd love it if we actually sewed together!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in that top quilt. The disappearing churn dash blocks look great! I love Missouri Star Quilt company. (Although my wallet thinks otherwise! ;) )I can sit and watch their videos for hours, I have learned so much from them. In fact, tomorrow I will be making three pillowcases that Jen did a video on. It looks so easy!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink print, too! Missouri star does have some great tutorials. They are good for beginning quilters, too. You were very productive with the "Mod Squad"!
ReplyDeleteI have that pink fabric in the teal color way....it's so pretty! Congrats on starting two new projects. Sewing with the mod squad sounds like lots of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI love sewing with friends. But I agree you need an easy project so you can chat and sew. Looking forward to seeing your next Wiggle Time quilt. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun! I love that pink print too!
ReplyDeleteYou just amaze me at how much you accomplish...you must not sleep much, Lady!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pretty colors in the first photo & I know that churn dash pinwheel is going to be a knock out, with all the open space for you to work your magic quilting into. Yay you!
A nice variety is always inspiring ! :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - both project. The blue one pulls me though - I do love blue!
