Last week's finishes

A couple of my finishes from last week. This yellow/gray one I really had fun quilting using designs from Angela Walters book and class I took from her last year at MQS. The piecing pattern can be found on her site also. I used Hobbs 80/20 batting and glide thread.

And I am happy to say that I sold it already-to a good friend of mine :-)  Someday I am sure I will make another as it was so fun!

This one is all machine appliqued, then quilted. It is a Joined at the Hip pattern. A great patriotic wall hanging. I also sold this one too!   Linking up at Stitch by Stitch

And I am working on this quilt, I pieced all the blocks in January at retreat and am working on the borders now, yeah a WIP off my counters very soon!!  Linking this one up at Freshly Pieced WIP

  7. Wow, what terrific quilting on your Cinco de Yellow quilt. Did you do it on a "normal" machine or a long arm? By the way, I just voted for you at the Quilting Gallery.
