Yes as promised I have more finishes to show you today. The crown and star quilt top is now quilted-I blogged about the top
here. I needed to get it finished to show on Monday night at guild since it is another of my UFO challenges so I went back to my standby of hook swirls and a plain muslin back since it was a wide back. The quilt is only about 48 by 64. It will become a donation quilt next year.
So in making the above quilt I made lots of the crown blocks and not so many of the star blocks. Since I got tired of the quilt and couldn't bring myself to make more stars I decided to make another quilt with the crowns and add some plain blocks for another donation quilt. This flimsy is done in my book as I will donate it to MQS community outreach booth for them to quilt and give away.
This star table topper only needed it's binding so now it is done too!
I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving!!

ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful finishes! It always feels so good to finish old projects. I really like that star topper. The ten points is unexpected but looks awesome.
