Fat quarter pack is no more

I had this Fat Quarter pack for over a year. It just sat there staring at me all this time saying please find a way to use me!!  I was bound and determined this past month to do just that. So these four table runners were born from it, plus a background fabric. This first picture shows the true colors.

The patterns for these were all from the On the Run Again book from Anka's Treasure.  It is almost silly how great it felt to use up that whole pack when you consider how much fabric I have, LOL


And a few close ups for your viewing pleasure to see how I quilted them.



Here is what I was working on over the weekend...I managed to get 21 string blocks done.

  4. Wow happy happy string blocks! I love how you quilted all of the runners, but the swirl hook, as you know, is my fave. I'm getting better at it!
