My scrappy improv chevrons. I have been working on this one for close to a year. Not that it really took that long, but, I took long breaks to do lots of other stuff ;-)
In February I was asked to do a demo on this technique at our local Mod Squad meeting. So while there I also worked on it for the day. By the end of the afternoon I was so close to finishing it that I stuck with the piecing for another day and finished. My One Monthly Goal is to get the quilting done and the binding on. It's only lap size so even with having a few other obligations I should be able to get an easy allover design on it.
I was tickled pink when Heidi emailed me this week to let me know I had won a prize from Bag Maker's Supply for last month's OMG!! I love making bags so it will come in handy!! Thanks Heidi and BMS!!

ReplyDeleteI really like the way you have the two bottom rows placed. It adds so much interest to the quilt. And the chevrons are so cool - I've not seen that woven look before. It will look so pretty quilted - cant wait to see it! Thanks for sharing on MCM - have a great week!
