Scrappy Strippy Kisses from Vol. 11 Quiltmaker's 100 blocks
And here the orange has joined it's partners of blue and purples. I am really loving this block and how it plays together so nicely with the different color blocks. I can hardly wait to see what color is next.
I have chosen to work on 2 different blocks each month. This is Tropical Punch from Moda Bake shop.
Hope you all have wonderful sewing days this week ;-)
Late to the party with both of these linky's but better late than never!
And not late to this one;-)
great blocks
ReplyDeleteLovely blocks, Vicki. All those shades of orange and purple really working together beautifully. Hmm, I will have to look up Tropical Punch on Moda. Seems like a good pattern to use up 2.5" strips.

I adore those scrappy kiss blocks. I might have to make that one my 2017 RSC block. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteGreat blocks. I love the orange scrappy kiss block, too! That will be one fun quilt.
ReplyDeleteYour bright and cheerful blocks will be PERFECT for a kids quilt!!
ReplyDeleteI love that pop of orange with the blue and purple. Very eye catching and fun.
ReplyDeleteYou blocks look good together. I wouldn't have wanted to add brown to the brights either.
ReplyDeleteI like the cornerstones, but I understand why you'd wait and see for a bit. I have two RSC projects on the go too! Have to catch up on the row one I've somehow started! Love that Scrappy Strippy Kisses block, great for scraps! You find the neatest stuff. :-)
ReplyDeleteA really wonderful combination of fabrics and colors Vicki! I can see why you are holding off on the brown too.
