The quilt was pieced a year ago at retreat and so I thought it was fitting I get it quilted this year.
Just came off the frame and the lighting was perfect so you can see the freehand feather swirl I quilted on it using my Nolting FunQuilter
On the front porch
Want to see who's hiding under the quilt!!
The tan backing. I love quilting on flannel as the stitches just sink in and leave some awesome texture.
Ready to be snuggled under.
Hope you all are having a great productive week! I am enjoying piecing some table runners.

ReplyDeleteYour quilting is gorgeous! All you need is a cup of tea and a good book!
ReplyDeleteOo, I bet that's warm and wonderful! I love your feather swirls. I have just a few bits of flannel in my stash and am resisting the temptation to buy more...
ReplyDeleteLovely! I saved both shots of your quilting so I can try this on paper later.
ReplyDeleteawesome quilting!! feathers look great- better than mine ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a cozy, snuggle under quilt! I do like the texture of the quilting too. Thankfully we had some better days, temp wise, so you could snap some shots from your deck!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I LOVE this quilting design! Especially how large it is. I tend to quilt too dense and have been looking for large designs that will quilt fast. This is great! I bet that flannel is feeling pretty darn cozy about now.
ReplyDeleteLove those feathers! so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI love It! It looks super snugly and so soft. It also makes me want to try that quilting design. I love the combination of swirls and feathers. Yeah for a finished quilt!
