My one February goal

I will be joining in with several other quilters over at Elm Street Quilts for One Monthly Goal this month.  This quilt was pieced in 2013-14, it's waited patiently for me to pull it out and get it quilted and bound. That is my goal for February.  Do you see the little pink paper pinned to the top border-I even left myself a little note that I wanted to do Suzies Magic binding with the leftover scraps from the little twister shapes! Good thing I did leave that note as I wouldn't have even thought about it!   I guess I better get in gear and get a quilting plan put together.

  2. I love Twister Quilts! How smart of you to leave yourself a note. I need to be doing that more & more. LOL

I bookmarked Susie's Magic Binding post & video years ago but never tried it. I hope it goes well for you.

  3. I'm excited to see your binding done in a scrappy version of the Susie's magic binding method. I love that method but never once thought to make it scrappy. Good luck with your OMG.

  4. I have notes on some of my quilt tops too. I also tuck backing and/or binding fabric with them, otherwise I tend to forget and use that fabric on something else. Will be fun to see your scrappy binding!

  6. Such a happy pattern. Love the skinny border highlighting the quilt. The dark, wide border really brings everything together.
