My squirrel

Ok so I admit I never had heard of these squirrel moments until I stumbled upon Sandra's blog a few years back. She kept talking about having those Squirrel's and once I learned what she was talking about, I realized I have them all the time, LOL. I just never knew they had a name!

So here is my squirrel or DrEAMI! moment for February.  Cheerful is a pattern by A Bright Corner that I had been admiring for quite some time.  One day earlier this month I was wandering around my sewing room, maybe doing a bit more cleaning up, and my eyes landed upon the fat quarter set I bought from Connecting Threads last November. I decided right then and there to go get the pattern and start in on it. Two days later I had the top sewn up!!  BTW the fabric is Amanda Jean's Good Neighbors line.

    Gorgeous! I just learned about squirrels a month or two ago. I seem to encounter a lot of them! LOL!

    Vicki, I love this quilt! I can see why it caught you in a DrEAMi moment! It looks like a fun pattern to try, and perfect with those blues and greens together. I think I might need this pattern!

    I can see why you needed to squirrel this one! So bright, fun and modern. Is that six FQs? What's the overall size of the quilt top?

    Those fabrics are beautiful and that pattern is the perfect way to show them off. I can definitely see why this squirrel would be a distraction :)

    I have a bunch of Amanda Jean's fabrics, used a 10" layer cake to make two H2H quilts last year, and got a bunch of FQs...this is the coolest of patterns, and I love these cool colours you put in this quilt! Thanks for linking up to DrEAMi! #2.
