After paper piecing five heart blocks I added a 1" spacer of gray to make it a bit longer. before adding the pink and red borders.
I had the perfect backing fabric in my stash-well the whole table runner came from my stash. No trip out in the cold 5 degree day to get any of it.
You can find the free pp heart HERE, she also has a bunch more patterns in her Etsy shop.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou made it - all finished for friday! It looks great by the way! I don't think you have to get permission to sell items made from a pattern. That is the point of a pattern - to make things. Pattern writers only have copywrite. Which means you can't sell their pattern.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Did you find the paper piecing to go quickly? That is one of my 'learning opportunities' for this year.
ReplyDeleteYou are really planning ahead. I usually think about Valentine’s Day after the first of February. Your runner looks great!

This is terrific Vicki! How nice of the pattern designer to allow you to sell them too. :-) Maybe this year I'll get my Valentine cushion/pillow sewn and into a pattern...
