OMG-One Monthly Goal done

Whoo hoo I have met my One Monthly Goal with several days to spare!

This is a tutorial by Missouri Star called Diamond Dash.  It is a quick and fun quilt to make.

My goal this month was to quilt and bind-done. I did some ruler work and some freehand work on it.  For the first time I did a freehand woodgrain quilting design in the batik rectangle rows.

I love the texture on the back.

I will be linking with One Monthly Goal.

  6. Hi Vicki! This turned out beautifully. Look at all that wonderful texture - so nice and squishy. It looks great on the back too. Is this one of your UFOs from the closet? I think it is - before long you'll have them all finished and will have plenty of room for new projects. ~smile~ Roseanne

  7. Wooo Whoo! Congrats on finishing! I love woodgrain on a quilt. Once you get in the zone, it quilts up pretty dog gone fast.

  9. Your woodgrain is great! That's such a neat motif that gives fabulous texture. And because it is "organic," there's no wrong way to do it :)

    Congrats on finishing your OMG!
