Oh my but it feels great to be back at my longarm again. First up I pieced, quilted, appliqued and bound this fun butterfly table runner. It's from my newest pattern called All A Flutter, you can find the pattern HERE. It is so easy and quick to whip up. The border fabric I had in my stash, purchased a while back specifically to make this runner. A quick trip to the store yielded the other fabrics to coordinate. I love the bit of stripe that I found for the binding.
I pieced the lady bug runner a couple weeks back while I was in Arizona. It was the first piece I put on my longarm upon returning. The pattern for this is by Suzanne's Art House.
Yes I went to Arizona again to visit family, what a great time we had. Here is one of the things we did while there. Such beautiful country down there and one can really get around and see things in an ATV.
I really enjoyed the break but it's time to buckle down and get back to work. Both my Etsy shops are open and quilting ensues! My plan today is to work on a panel for the panel challenge over at Prairie Moon. Tomorrow I will be working on a tutorial for Accuquilt. It's been a whole year since I wrote one so it will be a challenge to relearn how to do that! Then there are a couple of blog hops I signed up for. You can see those at the top of my right sidebar. The sewing machine will be humming, oh and I need to take one of them in for a cleaning today.

I literally think of you as the runner queen! Both of these scream 'Spring is here' to me. Well done, welcome back...now buckle down and get busy! LOL! Glad you had a great time in Arizona too!
ReplyDeleteThe orang-y/yellow butterfly runner is so pretty, Vicki! Cute ladybugs, too. So glad you had a great time in AZ! Looking forward to seeing what you do for the panel challenge - you always do amazing things with panels.
ReplyDeleteYou KNOW I just love your table runners. Glad to hear you made it home safely. The ATVs look like lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteYour trip looks like it was so much fun! Love the table runners, especially the ladybug. I've got a soft spot for lady bugs except when they try to colonize my house.
ReplyDeleteOh so cute table runners! Looks like you had fun which is good because you seem to have a lot of projects on your list. I know though that you'll get them done in no time. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful runners - that is a great binding on the butterflies. Thanks for the photo of home. =)

ReplyDeleteCute spring-ish table runners, Vicki! And welcome back to your home and studio!!! Wow, did you drive one of those ATV yourself? How many miles do you get on a tank of gas?!? What did you see?
ReplyDeleteBoth runners are adorable. I love the ladybugs!
ReplyDeleteThe ladybug runner is adorable. A few months ago I tried drawing one up for a quilt and it didn't look anything like yours. If it had I wouldn't have scrapped that idea. Thank you for linking up last week.
