Today was such a fun day, a group of friends gathering for a rock painting day! Most of us are not artists but thought it would be fun to cheer each other on. Did you know that Pinterest has tons of ideas for easy to hard designs to paint on rocks. Just like quilting ideas are plentiful so are painting ones. Here are the three I did.
Seriously it was so fun, just letting go and enjoying being with friends. We laughed and chatted for hours, we might even have done some snacking😋. They said it was okay to show you all of our rocks we painted.
Some of my evenings I knitted another sock. I have it's mate in the works also.
I will be linking up with TGIFF hosted by Wendy today. Won't you join me in linking up, we all love to see what you have been working on.
oh I love those rocks!!
ReplyDeleteYour rocks are so beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThe rocks are a hoot - and such a fun activity to do with friends!!
ReplyDeleteYour rocks are so cute! I'm impressed with your painting skills, Vicki! Fun to see all the different ideas, too. Will you be leaving these rocks for other people to find somewhere?
ReplyDeleteLove your painted rocks, Vicki!!! You're quite artistic with painting, too!!! Sounds like it was a fantastic gathering!!!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, LOVE this, Vicki!! I have been wanting to paint some rocks just to leave around as a surprise for someone to find. You guys did great!! {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne
ReplyDeleteCute rocks! I can remember painting rocks when I was a child. I took some to one of my mom's art shows and sold one for 25 cents! Ha, poor mom didn't sell any of her paintings.
ReplyDeleteThat chicken is TOO cute!! I've seen a tutorial for painting those 3 little birds. Nice job on your striped sock. I really need to cast one on!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to spend the day. SO many cute designs. I love the sock. I have tried a few times to make socks, not such a good sock maker... Jury duty tomorrow, so maybe I will grab a knitting project for the wait.
ReplyDeleteI love your rocks and sock....
