Weekly Goals Again!

It's Tuesday again and that means you get to check out if I met my goals for this week.  I only had two goals!

  • Make another Bee table runner ✅
  • Make another Lemon table runner✅
Here are they are, identical to the ones before, so you will have to take my word for it!

Oh wait I can prove those are the new ones.  The following photo are the old ones with different backs!

I didn't list this one on my goal list last week, but I sure enjoyed stitching on it in the evenings.  This is a free design from Melissa at Pinker n Punkin Quilting and Stitchin'.  Thank you Melissa for your generosity.  It stitched up quickly this week while watching TV with the hubster;)  I then mounted it on a wooden easel sign from Hobby Lobby. I put magnets on the board and washers on the back of the stitchery and then I will be able to change it out for the seasons.

Last Friday was my Birthday, thank you all for the Birthday greetings, I truly appreciated them!  I had a great week.  We got to watch the little granddaughter for a couple of hours on Tuesday and when daughter came to pick her up she brought me flowers and a box of Crumbl cookies-so good and the flowers smelled wonderful.

On Friday hubby made me waffles for breakfast, grilled hamburgers for dinner and we went on a wonderful afternoon bike ride. One of my brothers called, I video chatted with one of the grandsons, and our son called in the evening. Quite a full day:)

I really don't know what goals I want to set this week.  Oh wait I can think of a few.
  • quilt and bind a small lap quilt
  • make a sunflower table runner
  • make another bee table runner (yep I just sold the one above to a local friend)
  • go camping with the grandsons:)
Okie dokie lets hop over to Texas Quilt Gals blog for To Do Tuesday

  1. sounds like you were pampered a bit for your birthday so that must have been nice! Getting flowers and cookies to top it off - nice

  2. Sounds like you had a great week. And, wow! Going camping. Many years ago we went camping… now I’d rather be in a hotel. The joys of aging! Two more beautiful table runners.

  3. If I didn't already say Happy Birthday to you, I'll say it again! Sounds like you had a fun day. Crumbl cookies are a yummy treat! Love your bee runners, and the sweet cross-stitch, too. It makes an adorable display!

  4. Ha ha! We trusted you but thanks for the proof! Hope you had a great birthday!

  5. I'm not sure I said happy birthday, but Happy Birthday! Sounds like a perfect day. We have a new Crumbl Cookies in our nearest town and the photos of their cookies look wonderful. Your table runners are just as pretty as the last ones!
Thanks for sharing with To Do Tuesday!

  6. You are in production mode on those runners! Glad you birthday was well celebrated. Love those Crmbl cookies. They just opened one near the apartment...a definite sugar rush they are!

  7. A good week!! Adding the connections to family to the quilting - just perfect.

  8. You get so much done each week! How did you finish the cross stitch? Over a foam board or? I like that idea with the magnets and washers - clever!

  9. Happy birthday! Sounds like it was a great day! Love the cross stitch! Have a wonderful time camping with those grandsons! :)

  10. Oh Happy Belated Birthday, Vicki!!!! Sounds like you had a great day. Love those runners. Camping with the grandsons is something to look forward to...enjoy!

  11. Hi Vicki! It sounds like a fabulous birthday! A good day to be you, that's for sure, and isn't it nice to be so loved?! {{Hugs}} I'm just saying that I highly doubt anyone would think you're lying about the table runners. HAHA! We didn't need proof that they are new ones. That made me laugh right out loud. I adore the easel cross stitch! Now you'll have to get started on the next one - apples for Fall, or pumpkins or both?! The possibilities are endless. Have a great week, my friend. {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  12. Hope you had a great birthday, Vicki! Your table runners are gorgeous!!! Yes, I have the Nolting 23 and love it. I bought it with $ my mom left me when she passed away. Even though her mom was the quilter, I have fun memories of them when I use it which is often. Have a great weekend!
