Is it Spring yet?

I am so ready for spring to get here! We were in the midst of a winter storm this week, I think we got around a foot of snow. There were others not so far from here that received a lot more. But watching the snow coming down outside for a couple days made me yearn for spring, so I made my own spring by working with summery colors complete with flowers. These sweet daisies make me smile:)

There are some little flowers on the lighter colored wedges of this one too.

What do you think of this bright one. Think of how many occasions you could use this. It would be great as an Easter table topper, or how about all spring long or use it for a birthday party.

  1. These table toppers sure scream spring! We had 80 degree weather here yesterday, which was wonderful. The problem will be when winter comes back and kills all of the buds and blooms on the fruit trees. I'll take it while I can, though.

  2. Those toppers are so pretty, Vicki. Course the fabrics make it feel like spring and we are all ready for that season.

  3. You've definitely captured the feeling of spring with these. My first thought with the last one was birthday PARTY, but those are certainly Easter colors too. Some great fabric choices! I need to go hide in my sewing room today and play with some spring colors - and avoid looking outside at the mountains of white.

  9. These are SO beautiful, but I'm super impressed because I'm working with curved piecing right now, and it isn't exactly the easiest thing I've ever done! Great job, and truly cheerful colors!

  10. Hi Vicki! This is a nice pop of color for these long winter days. I love the last one that is so colorful! I can imagine it brightening someone's home quite nicely. I did notice that the sun was just going down at 5:30 last night. Just two weeks and we'll spring-ahead. That has to mean that Spring isn't far behind! Besides, I think you are longing for last year's Arizona days . . . {{Hugs}} ~smile~ Roseanne

  11. I'm sure ready for Spring! We didn't get as much snow as you did, but it just keeps falling on top of the old stuff. Ugh! Love your happy runners in the bright colors, especially the rainbow one! Did you make those rainbow stripes, or find the perfect fabric for them?

  12. Pure Spring goodness . How darling are all of the table quilts. I could also see the yellow one being used with bee decor too. Beautiful job, Vicki.

  13. Love daisies and your table toppers are so pretty and very spring-ish. Love the bright one, can be used for many occasions. We are into the heat (and humidity!) of summer, I'm longing for cooler days, which won't happen until April.
