by making round wedge toppers;)

Yes I am back to my regular sewing/quilting room and it's now time to kick it in gear and finish things. It's getting to be Patriotic season so I need to add items to the shop. First up is a round wedge topper which I pieced on Friday and quilted and bound it Saturday.

It was a green day in my sewing room lately. I believe it is not to early to think ahead to coming seasons or holidays. Plus it is always fun to pull out fabrics I haven't worked with for quite a while. Here is what I whipped up...
Can you guess what I am making? I should have it done for a Monday post:)
Two finishes over the weekend. I pieced this one at retreat and quilted it this weekend. It measures approximately 16.5"x45" and it sold already so I will put another one on my to do list! I have parts leftover from previous ones so it won't take to long.
Red and black anything is just classic, this round wedge topper fits right in. You have seen me make several of these toppers over the last few years. They are addicting. The thing to remember is to pick a fabric that will sing for the small sashing, the red in this case. After you have your focus fabric pull from that for all the rest. My focus fabric is the black with red and white flowers.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my latest finish.

I am so ready for spring to get here! We were in the midst of a winter storm this week, I think we got around a foot of snow. There were others not so far from here that received a lot more. But watching the snow coming down outside for a couple days made me yearn for spring, so I made my own spring by working with summery colors complete with flowers. These sweet daisies make me smile:)

There has been a lot of Tuesday posts this year and lots of goals set and most met, I'd say that is a success;) This week I had three goals and I accomplished them all.
1. Finish 2 round wedge toppers✅ ✅ First I had fun with some Valentine fabric.
2. I am in the process of setting up to be an Affiliate for Accuquilt so I hope to have that done in the next couple days. ✅ Yes it was approved and I got the link set up on the top of my left side bar. Being an affiliate means if someone clicks the link and makes a purchase I get a small commission.
This post covers three holidays, Christmas, St. Patrick's Day and Fourth of July. Two round wedge toppers in Christmas fabrics were finished.
